I used the magnetic board in a 8 session theory class for my cello students this summer. It worked very well in helping them understand Bass, Tenor and Treble clefs and to see how they fit in the grand staff. We were able to put notes on the board and see how they looked in each clef by indicating which 5 lines we were using. I have used it in individual lessons to help remind students of how it works.

Students love the small boards and can use them as they move around the room comparing answers with others. I also put these in my instrument bag when I travel to teach.
